C3 firewasher tools

Post by c.morewood »

I have to go to my Mums (6 hours away) in a few weeks. Whilst there I intend to change her leaky injector firewasher.
I'll have no tools available there and very limited possibility of borrowing, buying what I need with the nearest garage/tool shop being 2 hours away. Has anyone changer a C3 firewasher recently? Can you give me a list of tools (spanners or sockets and sizes) to take with me?
I did one on the C2 about 3 years ago and remember that celulose thinners did a great job of breaking down the carbon around the injector.
Thanks,
Chris

not done a C3 firewasher as yet, but suspect there much the same as the likes of Xants and other diesels,

i just use a very small screwdriver, a pick ( http://tinyurl.com/kkjwp9t" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) and sometimes make a hooked tool out of some thin stiff wire,
