Can anyone register and buy salvage vehicles from copart? If so do they deliver vehicles to home address or to a garage of your choice? Ta in advance.

Davie, I believe Sir Malcolm of Citronut posted very recently about just this. It might be worth PM'ing him unless he comments here...

I do remember him speaking about it a few weeks ago, but would he be in business in the motor trade?

That may make a difference. We are looking for a crashed fiesta st for a donor for shaun's knackered fiesta so we have all the bits required to make his project fast road/track car.

The Chinese must be well-off for steel at the moment then. Have scrap prices fallen recently?

Well that was their excuse. It won't be going for scrap. If it doesn't get re-engined either as a racer or another 1.4 then it will get broken and lots of bits on the bay of e

I believe scrap prices are down a little, coal sales are down so they might be producing slightly less material.

Copart apparently require the buyer to collect from the auction's physical location. Offering delivery post-sale would introduce more risk to their bottom line.

i believe joe public can register????? give them a call to confirm that,

i had a go at registering over two or three days a week or so back, but there registration form kept saying
"your physical address and post code do not match",
this still kept happening after several suggestions from there customer service team,
they asked me in the end to email them a screen shot of the filled in form so they could try to find out what was going on,

still have not heard back from them
