my 2001 c5 kept ejecting cds and wouldnt play them so i took the radio to bits and noticed one of the wires on the circuit board inside the radio was broken off,so i went to the scrapyard and got another radio thought i plug it in and try it works great except for the beeping i know each radio is coded to the car so i was wondering if i swapped the broken circuit board from the old radio with the one i bought from the scrap yard and put the old radio back together would this bypass the anti theft on the radio?

Re: c5 radio advice
The easiest way to overcome the beeping is by programming the new radio to your car's VIN by using Lexia ... that is, if you have a Lexia nearby ...

Re: c5 radio advice
Why not use the new radio as a guide to where the wire should go, and repair your old one?
