It's a Hydraulic clutch, 2001 110 Hdi Xantia. Took her to see the specialist 2 hours ago (car drove without fault when changing gears as usual smooth as ever) he say's clutch travel is perfect and the slip at the top is as should be (not sure what he meant by that) he said to clean the clutch pedal arm and mat and see if further drips/stains appear on the arm or mat. Cleaned it up and this is the colour on tissue, specialist also pointed to this part, but my brain was calculating all sorts of possible repair costs that I forgot what he was saying...
If it is the clutch master cylinder can it be repaired as in the seals replaced if not do I look for any 406 110 hdi to replace it with.
When I saw this on ebay and on compatibility it showed 109hdi xantia mark 2 I wanted it to be true. (what do you chaps think)
