Here's a whatsthisthen, but dont scratch your heads too much, its obviously from something "electric"

Image

Few more clues

range 93 miles on a full charge, 8 hours to do a full charge, or 1/2 hr to do an 80% charge.

Far too pricey ever to be the next "VolksWagen"

Well I think some points have to be awarded, cos its one of those things are virtually the same thing but go under different names a la C1/Aygo etc.

But the Mitsubushi i MiEV is AKA the Citroen C-Zero, named after the probability of me buying one :)

The most appropriate offering reflecting the subtle qualities of the car would be an alcohol free beer from Japan in a can....

enjoy :!: :)

Because the battery is too small, and needs you to jump up and down on it to squeeze in the remaining 20%!

This took my interest as it popped up in an image list googling what a "Tamiya Radio Control unit" looked like.

This looks like the real thing

This is from the Citroen Website, the difference is plugging it into your 13A 220V domestic supply or into a three phase 125A 415V supply.

I was going to offer a clue on the price of the Citroen C-Zero but is seems a bit variable. Go to this bit of the Citroen Website and you are presented with a page showing an eye-watering price "from £26,216"

Go along to the offers page and it you take a suitcase of cash they will let you have one for £16,416

In either case, still too pricey in my view.

Very much so and with the added kick that it takes at least 30 minutes to fill the 'tank'. If it took 30 minutes to fill up a petrol car it would be deemed a total failure..

I also see a huge problem that when the battery is flat that's it. You're stranded. You can't walk to the nearest garage with an emergency can and get a gallon of juice to see you to your destination can you?

These 'gotchas' mean they'll never be a mainstream success until they're properly addressed. I think small efficient petrols like the C1 family are the way forward...
