Inlaws have decide its new car time and settled on a Captur, and as the Wife Killed her fiat last month, they have decided that We Need a second car and thus are Gifting the Modus to the good lady! iirc its a 54 plate 1.4 with the glass roof and Boot Chute,
So, being 10 years old, and a Renault, i kinda view it as a bit of a poisoned Chalice!
The cam belts just been done at the dealers - they used to use the local garage, the belt they did on the old clio they had was just belt and waterpump, not pulleys too, that winter one of the pulleys went and too the engine with it! Since then they have gone back to Dealers, So its been maintained in accordance with the book. Is there anything obvious i should look out for?? common issues??
