Hi,
When I had a 1999 Jaguar XK8 my £12.99 OBD2 scanner was amazing and worked perfectly. When I bought a Laguna the scanner was of little use so I stuck it on eBay.
My Mum has a 2004 Clio thats very judderly going up hills or in low revs. Being a lady in her 60's she took it to KwikFit and they had a look but said their kit couldnt pin point the fault and to try someone with the Renault Clip. They said they thought it was an engine management sensor rather than a part replacement fix.
Ive looked on ebay and I see some Renault Engine code scanners for £70. Are these any good?
Any advise would be most welcome,
2004 (54) 1.2 Clio Extreme - Carmarthen, South Wales.
Thanks
Lou

I use a Clip clone which works fine. Anything else is either too expensive or hit and miss.

Can clip is the best choice for Renault vehicles, I got the clone V142 from diyobd2.fr French web. It did both scanner and diagnostic function, no extra tool needed. The money was well spent
