so Mr sticky thats not your car in you last thread is it??? #-o

firstly
you must tell ( dont ask ) your insurance company you ARE!!! retaining salvage rights,
it is still your property till they strike/agree a deal with you,

secondly
even if it looks like the claim is going to go straight forward instigate your legal expenses insurance, because after a calender month into the claim/battle you can no longer use this,

you should never let them remove it from you property if you intend keeping it ( this may be too late ), if they have already taken it to a registered crash repairer and you still want it back tell them they must deliver it back to you at no cost to you ( all be it you are not the blame for the accident ),

the only time they might be able to insist they keep/squash the car is if it is structurally damaged

Yep, never let it out of your grasp until a deal is struck to your satisfaction. And don't let any accident-related costs be borne by them; pay these outright when they fall due. Later they become part of a negotiation.

Hi Guys.....LOL, yes it is my C5 !

2 1/2 hrs AFTER I parked it she rolled ! wakes you up at 11.30 at night.

The recovery (by crane) will be soon (waiting now) but the insurance would like it (insisting on) taken to storage for "safety" reasons...??

It belongs to you unless you say otherwise at this point. Pay for the crane yourself, or request an invoice for it, so you can pay.

Sooo a hydro Citroen left with the handbrake on and not in gear or no handbrake?

Feel for you fella but if your to blame then it's likely best to let them take it and be done with it.

FYI the boot floor pushed up if under about 3" can be repaired quite easily and quickly once the bumper is off :D Does the VIC and MOT just fine just needs an underseal again and job done :)
