Borrowed it, Bernie [:D] Think it has been around since Muffin, which we used to watch while ostensibly repairing the sets we were watching it on. Bill and Ben and Andy Pandy also spawned quite a few jokes:
Weeeeed! Who's weed?
We know what Andy and Looby are up to!
And who could forget the Clangers?

Cheap to park, plenty of space, Concorde ( although it will be fully booked ), and a butty shop which does some nice nosh !

Good suggestion, MB. What are the parking charges, though - pubs are free! Would be nice to see G-BOAC again, though - glad we managed a flight on that beautiful machine before she was grounded.
The DS of the air, and the Concorde of the road.
No, that is not my DS

I used to ROFL when one of the educational programmes came on - you may not have seen it, but it was supposed to teach kids the vowel sounds.
'I' was represented by a puppet made from a bean can and a tin funnel for a head, who kept shrieking "I'm Jim, the tin man" in a broken-razor-blade voice worthy of Cilla Black. Can't remember if it predated the Wizard of Oz.
The pub near Manchester Airport - don't suppose it has a big car park?
Airport parking does sound reasonable - I was visualising a fiver or so.
