That is so it can run around mountains without falling down them. How do you catch a noble haggis? Sneak up on it and (when you are close) make a noise it would find intriguing. When it turns around it loses its balance and rolls down to the bottom of the mountain, where you can collect it.

I believe that swimming can help with back injuries/problems, as the water supports your weight, while the swimming exercises a wide range of muscle groups. I hope your bionics are waterproof!

I'm sure that when the wounds heal there will be no problem going swimming. I know it helps, sometimes when nothing else worked I would go to the pool and being in the water was bliss. A sauna or steam room is great also.

Gosh, has this topic ever gone off topic :rofl2:

Swimming is an excellent exercise and a lot of disabled people swim at our pool as well as those in various states of rehabilitation.

The thing with swimming is that it's a low-impact exercise. You work very hard with very little strain on the body so you won't break anything.

I swim 5 days a week and will be walking to the poll this morning at 06:20 as usual.

Back on topic, I'll get in touch with Russ and see about a Forum 'tax disc' :-D

I will also start a new thread about it so this thread can continue to talk about all sorts of things!

Have you heard of the Lesser Haggis (otherwise known as the Bog Haggis)? It does reside in the Scottish bogs, and is the only known creature with a biological snorkel and periscope arrangement. Other than that, there is no reason to hunt them, as they taste so foul they make the Noble Haggis taste great. It is also very dangerous to hunt them, as they prefer living in very deep bogs.

They are evil little bloggers James. I've only came across them once. It was in the public toilets in Strathclyde Country Park where I was sitting minding my own business and it jumped up and bit me right on the bum. It's little wonder that they taste so foul given where they live. That is also the reason for they are known as bog haggis.

They originally lived in the natural bogs in Scotland, preferring the still, black pools near to the peat bogs. It was because we started carving up the peat for compost and fuel that the Lesser Haggis had to find alternative habitations, and so found an unusual alternative.

I maintain to this day that was the start of my back problems. The scare i got i must have jumped at least 50 feet in the air and the jolt when I landed did the damage. It's just as well there's high ceilings or I may well have broken my napper too.
