Hello everybody, Just joined and hope I can get some assistance. I've bought a '06 C4 1.6 and it will not go into 4th from the D option but I can manually get it ok. There's 71k kms on it. Any pointers would be great. Jim
I tried this and it appears to have worked. I disconnected the battery and reconnected after 5 minutes. The car is going into 4th now when it reaches 80 kmh, this seems high but what the heck, I thought I was looking at major surgery.
Any comment on the high speed required to change gear!!
