brakes on c5

Ive developed a fault with my c5 brakes when the car has been stood for a few hours the brake pedal is solid when pressed and the brakes barely work , after letting the car tick over and pumping the brakes for a few minutes the brakes come back to normal im wondering if it could be the servo thats faulty , anybody ouy there had the same problem ?

Either the servo or a vacuum pipe leak.
