Indicators switch turning headlights on in 0 position

Unread post by Smarty2 »

As the header says when indicating mainly left that intermittently my headlights are coming on when the headlight switch is in the off position (daytime)? I have selected for my lights to come on automatically, but this is annoying not only to me but other motorists! :lol: Any pointers, stalk or sensor? I had it in the garage yesterday for an ATF change but got a screwed up face when describing this problem from the muckanic! Probably thought "aaargh French electrics"?

COM2000 problem, same as here: http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/v ... =4&t=49190" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Post up the last 8 digits of the VIN and I'll find the part number for yours.

You can use the part no to find the right one cheaper though.... :lol:

There is also a link to someone - in Bradford IIRC - that repairs them for a reasonable fee.
In one of the many similar threads recently.

Thats a bargain John. I'm holding off on the repair from Graeme until I come back off holiday now as it isn't a major issue really, just an annoyance, besides I can just put my sidelights on!
