Gents,
Im just wondering after recentley replacing mine at a nice price of course from the local robbers, if there is a simpler electronic device that could replace this unit to keep the ECU happy and then the use of a manual PBV/PRV to control boost level upto 1bar instead? Of course the extra pipe would need blanking off but thats not a biggy really is it!
Thoughts anyone?

Will, yes, you may be able to replace the solenoid with a suitable resistor to fool the ECU into believing it is present and correct.
I'll do a tadette of research tomorrow on the subject if you like..

Re: Boost Pressure Control Acuator
If you could it would be great Jim as i think long term it will be the easiest solution as the only thing that concerned me was if it was sensing a change in resistance when activated.
FYI my old one will be on its way down to you with steve. I think if its lubed up and actuated a decent amount it should come back to life as i think its suffered from sitting to long and dried out.
