I have a bit of trouble with that one too Neil and I can find some merit in most sports. Wresting always seems to be a boxing substitute for those who are unwilling to appreciate and acquire the deep skills and reflexes needed to be a good boxer. Wresting just looks like a drunken pub brawl..

I have the same problem with darts as a sport. Possibly the only 'sport' where obesity and a fat gut is mandatory and drinking pints is an essential part of your training regime.

Maybe wrestlers are failed darts players?

Enjoyed the commentary on that very sport on the wireless this morning. England Vs The Falkland Islands.

Ideally suited to lawn bowls. (I play skittles, it's just a bit noisier). Shooting is second choice. Last time I fired a shotgun I was knocked over backwards by the recoil. I was only 8 at the time. third choice, netball. I'd probably be ok if it was a ladies team.
