So they are going for the sympathy vote. I don't know if that will work, as the Scots don't have much sympathy for the Sassenachs!

I actually think England were the better team. They are going on about the error that gave away the winning goal, but actually the problem was they could not score more than once from the 18 shots at goal they had. And the commentator saying, after Rooney scored, one point is better than none. I said to my son they haven't got one point yet. The manager said doesn't matter how many times you get into the opponents penalty area or how many corners you get its goals that count and we couldn't get them.

I have no interest at all in Football. My wife however is Colombian so she's football mad.. when Colombia scored earlier today my neighbour from two doors up texted me and said "I hear Colombia scored then..." then "Goodness me" when they scored again.

I'm glad England got beat. I'm bored to tears with the xenophobic attitude that England fans have - as though we have some divine right to beat all the foreigners, when in fact we're just s**t.

The Colombians on the other hand are happy, and I mean REALLY happy just to be in the finals. Every game is a party - literally! I've been to two so far this week. Full of hot women wearing Colombian football shirts :P They obviously don't want to get knocked out but it wouldn't be a national disaster if they did, so they just enjoy it. I've had such a laugh. Last time I was in a pub for an England match was 2006 and that ended in people fighting, bottles flying and plod being called. England team and fans? Keep it. Give me some fun footy watching any time.

Suarez is a class act. He showed it tonight. Even if he could eat an apple through a chain link fence with those teeth....

I had a feeling England were going right through and would win the cup.

Normally my feelings are good; it's the exception that proves the rule I guess..
