I bought my Lexia Via UKPoleBoy? 07846 603915 he supplied me with Made In France item with Actia stickers with Diagbox 7+
£65.05 Inc P&P.
Though I downloaded v 7.30 from this Torrent Link No password needed and comes with Install video. Lexia v.5.50 with updated Interface.

I found this copy works great with my C5

Hi Guys,

I have several issues with my C5 as you can se from my posts, was looking at this on ebay, and wondered if it would be a good idea to get one as not only for the present problem, but also for future use, what do you think ? is this as good as it gets or what ?

I've been having a play with Diagbox on my C5 X7 and have come across one menu called "Bashe 5" Diagbox states "Communication Error" with this item, nothing appears to be wrong with the car as such and looking on the pictorial diagrams Bashe 5 doesn't appear, I'm just curious to know what it is/stands for.

The Indian reference gives it away, its a curry !!!!!!!

I've just installed Diagbox 5.02 on a Samsung NC110 using Windows XP Home, now where can I find the file ecran.ini ?? I've tried doing a search but there doesn't appear to be a file! I don't see the buttons at the bottom of the page. Current screen size is 1024 X 768

I want to keep this machine as a dedicated machine just for Diagbox............

Anything you can do to help would be appreciated

Ok so Im having issues with my cars both C5's 1.6 hdi estates 05-06 yrs and it seems to be the dreaded Anti pollution and (Whistling turbo) small other things. Would me buy this HELP in any way, both DPF have been out cleaned and still have the same error message on screen. Also as Im not sure , What would I get and how much including postage to France would I be looking at, Sorry to bore you all with the same question. I am well up for buying this even it it comes second hand . Cheers for now

hi all deffo looking to buy one of these if i get the turbo fixed, is item number 400618840847 on fleabay the ticket, will this software enable me to get rid of the dpf and erg? or do a need ecusafe as well? many thanks for any info

The "Purchase Through Moderator" is now defunct and you need to purchase individually. Some of the suppliers listed have ceased trading.
Someone who has recently purchased one may be able to provide details and a recommendation.
Be wary, some are not all that they might be!

A month late I know but the file is at c:\app\lexia\exe\ecran.ini

largeur_ecran is horizontal resolution, hauteur_ecran is vertical resolution. I too have my vertical resolution set to 600 for a 1024x600 netbook screen! By the way I have run Lexia/Diagbox on a Samsung NC110 and it does a pretty good job as long as you have 2GB of ram. (The one I was using did, but I'm not sure if they all come with that - I was using Windows 7 Professional 32 bit as well)

....right then....

after loading Lexia on to 'new' laptop - XP, 15" ,plenty of RAM- got it work on C5.
then decided to upgrade to Diagbox, failed miserably, although it did get as far as the code activation part.
finally managed to get Lexia back on in a fashion, can't get past error screen which appears on start up.

Sooooo....back we are to trying Diagbox again.

download off Mega...is part 6 right, as in a lot smaller file?



i do have the other 2 files, txt document and Word.

now, do put these files as Zip on to the DVD as ISO or UnZip then as ISO onto Disc?

as regards install, whats the order? previous attempts resulted in errors saying the Temp folder wasn't available until next one unzipped, reached 6 to be told file was empty?
520 file first or straight into 529?

appreciate that there is an answer already here somewhere but would like to get this sorted if possible and maybe even offer as a name on the Lexia map, help the bretheren

Yes its normal for part 6 to be smaller than the rest. You'll want to download and install winrar to extract the rar files - open 5.02 part 1 and it will extract an ISO file for you. Either burn that ISO to a DVD, or mount it using an ISO mounting program such as Magic Disc. (I do the latter)

Before attempting to run setup.exe you need to uninstall Lexia - Diagbox comes with a copy of Lexia (to support older model cars) so if an older version is already installed it will clash.

Run the setup that is in the disc you mounted from the iso and you should have a working install of 5.02. After that you can optionally extract and run the 502 to 520 and 520 to 529 updaters one after another, launching Diagbox in between to let it update.

By the way, Diagbox 5 is a few years old now, if you have an early Chinese clone interface that may be the latest you can run but if your interface came with Diagbox 6 or later you should be able to run Diagbox 7.

sorry for being a Dummy but...do i extract all the files or just part 1 and thats 5.02?
so are parts 2-6 updates to get to 5.29

at the moment i'll settle for 5.02 working, plenty enough for me to lash up!

any way to tell which interface i've got?

Parts 1 to 6 are all the same archive - a so called multipart archive which is one archive split into multiple files for downloading purposes. winrar sees they are named the same (except for the last number) and is smart enough to join them all together and then extract the result. So no need to open parts 2 to 6 individually.

Together they contain the installer for 5.02. The other two rar files for the two updaters are separate though.

Telling what interface you've got - no easy way, if it works with 5 but not 7 its an old Chinese clone, if it works with both its not! No easier way unfortunately...
