quick radio code question

Ok I have the Laguna Initiale on a 54 plate and it has the full Cabasse satnav/radio/cd changer setup in. When I turn on the stereo it says error, which from reading around is because the radio code has not been entered. So after more reading I have to wait about 5-10 mins for it to ask me for the code on the big satnav LED screen. From there I use the thumbwheel on the back of the steering column control stick to move the numbers to enter the code. My understanding is I am supposed to press the button on the bottom side of this control stick to move to the next number to enter it.

This button doesn't move to the next number, how do I move to the second digit in the code entering sequence so I can enter ALL the code and get my stereo working?

Don't know about the Laguna but on a Scenic you press in/pull back the thumb wheel.

oooh thanks, will give that a try to see if my thumbwheel has that option
