When you hear the moans and groans of car costs etc. A car came into mates garage. "Lack of power woman" said. Scenic diesel, what a racket! I watched them pop the bonnet. The whole engine and every component was covered in black soot. Injector seals gone. "That soot and the noise has been there for 6 months. We thought it was just because it was a diesel" :rofl2: Good for garage mind.

Earlier today driving home there was an officer on a roundabout at the outside edge of a large one, and it's a place where they tend to wait with a team further up the road, and pull vehicles in, off what is a short section that goes straight on at that roundabout.

If this vehicle had driven past this checkpoint then they would have pulled this vehicle in.

It would have been making noises, and would have raised their interest.

It would appear that the driver has been lucky not to have an accident, and to not get pulled over.

Was this vehicle pulling when you drove it in for the work?

Did not notice as had no brakes at all as the fluid tank was empty. Piston has come out of caliper due to loss of pad and wear on disc.
