After a couple of tentative toes into the water of selling my Activa, my hand is now forced and it has to go.....
I am moving house in a few weeks and won't have the space... plus it's just not getting used apart from running it up and down the drive most weekends. Details as follows:
It's a P reg (1996) S1 in silver with 99k on the clock. It's been off the road for about 3 years now I think and sorned since then. I start it every couple of weeks and run it up and down the drive so it's still in working order but I would be selling as spares or repairs. I fitted the S2 leather interior which is properly wired in. It's a very solid car and shows no leaks. It is quite an early spec and has the original silver on black boot badge. No MOT.
The faults that spring to mind are:
-Blower only works on full
-Aircon needs a recharge
-Can't vouch for the cambelt having been changed but I have a replacement ready to put on
-There are signs of corrosion in the strut tops so if I was keeping the car I'd be taking them off to clean them up and sure them up for the future (as I've done with my XM)
-Small dent in nearside front wing (I have a perfect replacement in silver)
-There's a few bits and pieces in the interior that need putting back on from when I fixed the offside rear window (all parts are there)
If I'm being picky there is some paint mismatch on panels from previous repairs (prior to my ownership), noticeable more in some lights than others. However, I purchased the doors, front wings and bonnet off a scrap car in the same colour a while ago which would sort this issue if they were all fitted (I've already fitted the near side rear). There is a dent in the donor near side front door however (my fault).... but looks like it would knock out OK with a bit of skill! All panels are dry stored and will come with the car and have the windows and motors still fitted. I also have some other spares such as lights.
It comes with a pretty impressive file of info and receipts that came with the car.
I'm open to offers......

Thanks for looking,
Andy.
