Xantia Window Guides Fault

Hello,
On my series 2 Xantia - I have a fault with the window mechanism - I have fitted an new motor - but when the window goes up it is now at an angle. There is a guide for the window to travel up which is in the end of the door which has the speaker - but the other end of the door there appears to be no guide.
I have just purchased this car so don't know if it should have one or not - or is there something else I am missing?

Im sure theres just the one LOWER guide in the door, BUT there should be a Glass Guide CLIP inside the Seal Area Rubber of the door.. On the Virtucally Straight Side. Theres a small hole in the glass that it clips into.. You might need to pull the Rubber window seal out of the framr a bit to see if its there, or not.

If this is how I under stand your problem correctly.
