Lady Xantia (S2) owner in distress

Some months ago, a novice driver drove into the X reg Xantia belonging to a friend and neighour (a lady on her own), damaging the N/S front wing. Churchill have, after months of delay, finally paid her out as an economic write-off and allowed her to keep the car. Our local friendly body repairer will do a really good job for £150 plus parts. Therein lies the problem - she needs a new wing, side and headlight units. The front bumper appears OK, but Churchill's nominated repairer (50 miles away) have said that one of the mounts has sheared off (What off where unknown).

Given that it was a side-impact on a roundabout, anyone got any advice based on experience? What other bits might be needed?

Steve, the body repairer, needs some advice: is the wing bolt-on, welded, or hybrid.

I've said I'll ask around for s/h parts For Sale & Wanted.

If it isn't pouring with rain on Friday, I'll have a look at it (it's parked just up the road) in daylight.

Can someone confirm that N/S/F wings and lights are NOT the same for S1 & S2 cars but are the same for all S2 variants?

Headlamps on S2 cars are definitely different shape to S1. Sorry, but not sure about the sidelamps

There is a dimple in the forward lower mounting flange to the front wing, that needs drilling out with a 6mm bit. Not a spotweld, but a sort of "button" pressing.

is sounded like all s1 and s2 wings are the same except for s2 exclusive/v6 -- which are wider.. s1 v6 may also be different to normal

I may be wrong on that.. will see if I can dig out thread

Yes S2 Wings are the same as S1 V6 and Activa cars ONLY!! As ALL S2 cars have the "Wide Wings"

So, your best sourcing S2 wings.

The indicator is a different shape like the headlamp. Anyway, in Hindsight Ive just let a Near Side S2 in silver go with the last car due to space shortage! Typical Eh!?

S1 V6 and Activa have the wide wings. They are the same as S2 wings. The lighta are a different shape but they fit.
