Hi
Could anyone recommend a good book or website to teach me how the Citroen hydro-pneumatic suspension systems work.
I don't need one fixing - just a bit of a car nut and am interested in what goes on and how they operate.
Cheers
hydro-pneumatic suspension.

It infuriates me to be wrong when I know I'm right

Re: hydro-pneumatic suspension.
The original question was how does hydro-pneumatic suspension work - Stempys link and the two videos concentrate on the Hydractive (or later) variants of these systems, without really explaining the original underlying hydro-pneumatic concept. (That first link is pretty heavy going as well for someone just learning about the system
)
The following link gives a good overview of the basic hydro-pneumatic principle as well as the Hydractive variants that are built on top of it, and is a good place to start for someone wanting to familiarise their self with the system for the first time:
http://citroen.tramontana.co.hu/system/ ... nGuide.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It comes from this site:
http://citroen.tramontana.co.hu/technical-guide" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Myglarens bottom link looks good too, although I have not read through it.
I would add not all the articles various people have written that describe how the suspension works are entirely accurate (even the one I linked to!) and do contain the odd mistake, misunderstanding on the part of the author or over simplification, but overall they are a good guide.
