I was trying to service my step daughters 1.2 16v clio, I have got stuck on 2 of the spark plugs i want to change, The plugs are in tubes and 2 seem to have part of an old lead stuck on them which stops the plug tool going on them. Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas how i can get the plugs out?
The tubes are not much wider than the plugs and are quite deep !

Sounds like they've got the rubber inner bit of a spark plug tool stuck on them still. Maybe try taking the rubber insert out of your spark plug tool and seeing if you can then get it to fit on the plugs.
