Thanks Xac :-D That one has caught my mood at this time of year absolutely perfectly

Roll on the 27th I say  Longest time then until the next time we have to suffer it.

Went into Tesco the other day and they have their Christmas in-store music playing. It is appalling and I wanted to run as far away as possible

You could always convert to another faith, then you don't have to "do" Christmas and it's all water off a duck's back.

That cat reminds me of Mike P's cranky Santa photo from the other year.

I avoid shopping. I did all my christmas shopping in 20 mins, sat on my backside yesterday. Even better, it'll all arrived wrapped. Yes, lazy, yes, a bit more expensive (but no more expensive than fuel and parking really) but a lot better for my mental state and the safety of others around me. Of course, working from the 25th-29th, nights, means my missus is away to her sisters for the entire period, so her sister will have to do all the shopping and deal with all the nonsense, and we won't.

Happy days :-)

I generally do my shopping on Christmas eve afternoon, just before the shops close. Usually takes about an hour as all the sensible ones have gone home or to the pub.

I do despise all the hype and especially the Christmas music but am tempted to make an exception with this.
Anything she does is just fine in my book.
