An Air Horn saved my bonnet!

Post by addo »

Really.

A large recycling truck started inexplicably rolling back towards me at an intersection today. After a mad scramble to remember where the horn was (cue rapidly increasing heart rate and pucker factor!) I found it where I'd left it - on the lighting stalk tip.

Result! He stopped rolling back, the chassis rails literally two inches from my 605 bonnet.

This is twice in the last five days, people have failed to notice a large car, headlights ablaze, loud exhaust... No wonder motorcyclists are quitting around suburban areas - if I am in danger, imagine their predicament.

Definitely need some pseudo-funereal writing for the front doors, in flourishing gold or silver script: "Raide & Morte, Funerary Assistants"
