Xsara Picasso: "CD loading" & climate cntrl screen black

Hello Im new- go easy on me!

The radio works fine but the CD doesnt, it just says CD loading on the main screen. Any ideas? Ive tried a CD cleaning disc to no avail.

Also my climate control screen- the bulb has gone. Is there anywhere in the Manchester/NWest or WYorks area that can pull it out, open and fit a new bulb (s)??

Everything works on it- just the screen.

The CD on our car (not a picasso though) would take the disc but not play it. I removed the unit and took the lid off and emptied half a dozen coins out which I presume had been posted in there by the previous owners kids. Worked fine after that.

Ah. How do you remove? (Worsecase I'll get another from a salvage yard and swap them around)
