Just fitted these to mine to aid in the winter months, get some good reviews.
What are people's thoughts on their tyre's? Buy decent or anything black and round?

i had a pair of Vred's fitted on the 309gti back in the late 90's, Masses of tread on them, friends commented on how you could go Hiking in them! 
lasted about the same as any tyres last when your 20 in a Gti! 
they used to be std fit on the pug's in the mid 90's iirc
