The FCF is How Old?

Post by CitroJim »

I know the FCF has been running a long time but I never realised just how long until today when I received an email addressed to the forum asking if it would like to release a portion of its pension as a lump sum now it has reached 55 years of age....

The forum is quite elderly in forum terms - it's getting on for 12 years old...

It'll soon be a stroppy teenager

I just watched a few Kevin and Perry videos on the tube. I absolutely howled. They are so funny and so true too... Any parent will tell you that...

It'll never die on Xac's, Myglaren's and my watch :-D It's had a few near-misses in the past but that's at an end now. The nearest was a good few years ago now when I managed to pull the database off the managed hosting it was on at the time within hours of it being lost forever... We nearly lost the BXC at the same time.

We should have a motto of "Never down for long" :D
There will be an outage maybe in December, but probably January when the server is relocated to brand new premises.

So we need someone to glam up like Marilyn Monroe in that super-clingy dress and sing "Happy Birthday" to the forum on YT?
