41 years tomorrow.

Post by qprdude »

No, not my birthday or the age of my car.
Tomorrow is our 41st wedding anniversary. Married in Hammersmith London W6, Registrars office on October 14th 1972.
Hey, it's been pretty good so far. Plenty up's and down's( bit like owning a Citroen).
Regular servicing, a long run now and then, a bit of pampering, look after the machinery and bodywork, never think of a replacement and always treat her with respect.
Rick.

Each to their own. I've usually chosen high mileage examples and changed them regularly to avoid excessive maintenance costs.

Ah well. No use regretting. There is a lot of money to be made up here,( not for me now though), but it's a lot colder than east Sussex.

My boss is ready to move south (she's a Surrey girl) when we find something we can afford  .
Problem is, we have a son and two grandchildren up here and it's hard to move away. We have a daughter and three grandchildren in Surrey but being so far away, we haven't had the same constant contact.
We are off down at the beginning of November for a couple of weeks though. Might have a day or so to check out the locality again. :)
