Models that PSA should of made

Post by spider »

Just things that would of been (potentially) good cars:

1. 205 1.5D , powerful enough for this and may of increased economy even more, although the 1.8D was quite frugal anyway and powerful anyway.

2. 306TD auto, why why why did not they not make one ? :( , I am aware there was a ZX1.9D auto for a while but no matching 306 model.

3. 205 HDi 110
Andy.

91 205D-Turbo, gone but still missed
02 106D, TUD5B, gone but not really missed apart from the MPG

Citroen Activa - the Pug 406 Coupé Pininfarina body with the Activa suspension and an ES9 V6 engine...

Gorgeous looking car that could cash the cheques it looks wrote. The 406 coupé can't despite being one of the most beautiful cars ever....

Andy, just saw this

The 205 STDT went like a scalded cat. Can you really imagine a 110 HDi version? It would have been ballistic :-D

AX 1.6 8v Very powerful engine for the weight and the low down torque means that this crisp packet can be driven at a good strong pace but with a long ratio box means you can drive it normally without having to change gear every 3 seconds like other "hot" hatches
2006 C5 HDi 170
1998 Xantia Activa S1
1971 D Special
2006 C3 1.6 HDi SX,

Mine did too being a "real" D-Turbo  :-D

There are some Youtube video's of 205 HDi's floating around for the curious and a V6 one as well I think.
