Diagbox 7.04 fault mine?, pc? or car?

Installed Diagbox 7.01 on to freshly installed XP 32 following Scary uTube clip updated to 7.04 using same video. Making sure no internet connection at any time, machine has not connected since fresh install, unblocking any window firewall promts.

All seems well plug in Actia device usb drivers install connect up to car with ignition off, great select citroen - C5-R, finds vin all correct.

The Screen for Scantool or Lexia appears, if I choose Lexia asked for RPO I put in 10123 my RPO?? on sticker drivers side behind door. Scantool takes me also to following pic.

I get this screen:


Tried with ignition on, tried tips found on FCF like disconnect usb when on lexia/scantool screen plug back in after 5 secs. Exactly same happens either way. Uninstalled re Installed 3 or 4 times.
Tried formatting laptop disk dell 510m loading a different copy of winxp sp3 and using another copy of diagbox 7.01 already patched.iso same thing happens.

Can find no posts for same problem, has anybody out there had it and has anyone solved it?

Might add installed a v4.07 on friends laptop about 2 months ago and that worked fine on my C5, he's just sod to track down at times so I bought my own kit.

Hmm, very odd.

Everything you describe you're doing sounds correct. So is it Diagbox which correctly identifies the VIN number before you launch Lexia ?

Try installing psa interface checker and running it to find the firmware version of your interface, and post a screen shot of that. If you don't have a copy you can find it here:

PS which version of XP is it (home/pro etc) and did you update it to SP3 ?

plugged in today and hey presto connected and I successfully run Lexia. I had made no alterations in any way decided to keep on 7.04 as it works

Found a few errors suspension and Injectors look into those later date, but first I would like to switch off tyre sensors, any tips on doing that.
