Or Halfords!
On a related note, have you ever seen a U-2 spy-plane land? It has a bicycle undercarriage and as it touches down a couple of fast vehicles chase it and then at the appropriate time leap out with wheeled stands for the wings or otherwise it would topple as it came to a halt.
I thought it was an urban legend until I saw it with my own eyes on may occasions....

Hmm, judging by the photo type, I'd say mid 60's, probably 1966, and the background looks like Zambia, so I'd say it's a Gloster Javelin.Stickyfinger wrote: Now....can you guess the Aircraft type ??

Nicely wheeled pod there and some tidy welding - but it looks like TIG.
Not a Bentley but the body/alloy boys are ex-RR

Old No. 1 Bentley was a famous track car from the late twenties (can't remember exactly when). Due to several official remakings of it, and various other adventures, there are several vehicles all claiming they are the "real" version, all are partly original, partly restored, partly made up. There's been at least one high profile court case over it.

But no, not one of the No1Bentley car(s)....this is a total copy of the original down to the design of the drilled locking nuts, bearing designs and sheet thickness, they even have had the seat material specially woven !
Still got two peanuts on offer for the winner and as I like to help friends in need, here is another teaser
