There’s something interesting about that TOTAL tanker...

It has 'ELF' in the number plate..

ELF was a well-known brand of petrol in the UK and is now part of TOTAL...

You have seen interesting details I knew about about Elf but I didn't know how it's related to Total.

I noticed some more details when I gave a closer look to the original pic.
The tanker also seems to be a "French stuff" which probably is a RENAULT

Renault and Elf were always partners years ago... Just as Citroen recommends Total then Renault always recommended Elf..

Spotted a metallic pale blue S2 T plate Xantia 1.8i in the Harvester car park near M1 J14 in Milton Keynes. Girls took me for lunch there to celebrate my birthday on Sunday... Lovely colour but very rare on a Xantia..

I waved to the person in the Xantia but he may have been perplexed as I completely forgot I was a passenger in a Nissan Pixo at the time...

As I was driving through town yesterday evening there was a D reg CX Safari in the pale blue/silver colour coming the other way. First one of those I have seen on the road in years, it was a bit tatty but going.

I passed a house about 15 miles away from here the other day which has three CX sat on the drive, all look to have been there for years and have windows down

No picture (I was driving), but I spotted a black XM (V744 FAJ). at 18:20 on the A329M near Wokingham, heading west.

On the way to Disney park, this old French car followed us for some time but our routes separated in a large roundabout of 3 lanes. I was able to take a last minute pic If I m not wrong this beautiful car is a Renault.

It' a pity that Paris city is planning to ban old cars entering in city center. They say that the plans would come into force in September 2014.

This isn't my spot but it is local to me





It is in fact one of our old XMs, its a 1999 2.0 16v Auto VSX. A later car without headlight washers but with cruise and digi climate. It's nice to see it is still around and I do spot it myself from time to time.

Saw a few Citroens last Tuesday including a S1 XM in Silver in London near Chiswick, and a C6 towing a caravan near Cheshunt!

Also just as I was joining the M25 there was a BX too.

The bottom one just today, the other a month ago, in Brighton.

Bottom one looks very well cared for.

Few Citroens spotted this week:

- Blue XM visiting from French France towing a trailer driving down the M20, presumably headed back to Dover.
- Resident XM in Ashford, black with roof bars
- Burgandy estate Xantia HDi Exclusive on the A38 this morning passing through Derby
- And finally a very neat Xantia HDi LX in silver with boot spoiler from an SX, S1 alloy wheels and personalised number plate that I parked next to in the Sainsbury's car park in Ripley, the driver and I exchanged nods. Although I did feel my filthy black work horse was letting the side down a little!

Of course I still don't have a camera

It was definitely an 'L' with a single number, could well have been 4.

YES, thats Vince's old VSX still looking as new as ever.... Yes Im looking after it. Theres a V reg Estate in Holyhead too, and a Blue X reg Hatch I look after, and I have done work on a P reg Maroone one aswell. Theres also an N reg Green one I look after.. Plus my own.. Theres others Ive not been introduced to yet Im sure..

Anyway, out in town today, (LLandudno) and this was sitting in a side parking space.



Its an original motor in STUNNING order. M plate, but Chevrons on the bonnet, and I think NO Air bags either. Baby seat in the back, and still bearing the original Selling Dealers number plates.. West Shore Garage, Deganwy..

Need to leave a note under the wiper. Its immaculate!
