I'm after a S2. By the time one is available I should have monies! I expect the HDi I was after to be gone by then. .

Has the 1996 silver Activa from here and ebay gone now? Dink aside, that seemed like a well sorted car.

Captain Slow, is this a car for yourself to use, a project or for parts?

I believe it has been sold, due to be collected next week. This was the one in Ipswich.

If I can find something it would be for me.

Silver Activa back on ebay with immobilizer issues £195 am interested myself but a little too far away for me as I live in wakefield and that is all the way down in sommerset. s&f chipped so am assuming 180 bhp or somewhere near. So so tempted, could sell the c5 for about £1500 and invest it in the Activa with powerful results.

I would buy this in a shot if I had the knowledge to make it run again. I'd even go and tow it home on a trailer :-(

I think just taking the imobolizer out altogether would be the best bet or off the ecu. The s&f chip may be sending bad signals to the ecu. If I wasn't going away for two weeks on sunday I would definately find the funds for a project like this one.

It is. All you need is a spare ECU with a known keypad code then... Simples :-D

Mind you, I very much doubt it's that James. More than likely a rotten wiring loom in the usual place or a knackered fusebox... Easy enough to sort.

Mike, go for it
