Driving home from work this afternoon I passed 2 BX's travelling in convoy, just by Charnock Richard service es heading north. I can remember the last time I saw a BX on the road

Nor me but yesterday I saw two and both in the same small town in Somerset.Trainman wrote:Driving home from work this afternoon I passed 2 BX's travelling in convoy, just by Charnock Richard service es heading north. I can remember the last time I saw a BX on the road
On my travels yesterday I saw the tow BXs, two Xantias, a 2CV, a DS and finally an XM!

BXs and heading north - sounds like the Citroen Challenge Ecosse...Trainman wrote:Driving home from work this afternoon I passed 2 BX's travelling in convoy, just by Charnock Richard service es heading north. I can remember the last time I saw a BX on the road

Spotted yesterday on the M25, around Junction 12, mid morning. One cream Citroen Traction. Looked nice, but no photos as travelling the other way (and you can guess how bad the traffic was!).

T-reg red Xantia LX on Friday 15:30. Very good condition, well looked after.
Speeding in a 30-zone, past a school at letting-out time.
Selected reverse while travelling forward at 30+mph.
No-one on here I presume?

Spotted a few Xantias parked up today
It clearly shows just how much better looking Mk1's are.

Well if we're playing that game, I was following a CX Prestige and then a CX Rally Car yesterday...

Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
I was following a blue MK1 Xantia estate down the A421 just outside Bedford yesterday afternoon... Looked remarkably similar to the one in the above picture
I spot only one MK1 in the above picture.. Two of them are V6s

I came back to my car this afternoon in Holyhead, to find an absolutely spanking dark blue s1 VSX parked in front. Gleaming, debadged (apart from the tiny "VSX", classy!!) and on private plates - definitely the nicest-looking one on the island. I'm sure CitroenXM is well acquainted with it already, mind...

I wonder if that's Vince's old one? Did the plate begin L4?mrduke wrote:I came back to my car this afternoon in Holyhead, to find an absolutely spanking dark blue s1 VSX parked in front. It was definitely an 'L' with a single number, could well have been 4.CitroJim wrote: I wonder if that's Vince's old one? Did the plate begin L4?

Two interesting spots yestery, a blue dyane, passing in quick traffic so no photo or info.
But perhaps more interestingly this 'T' plate ZX, i didnt realise they could be so new! It was a 2.0i according to the wing and those alloys had the Citroen chevrons in the centre, very smart looking.
