What was the original price of the item? Before the massive increases took place.

What is more pertinet is that the design of this bush was flawed right from the start! Why position a tolerance sensitive part right in the path of all the road sh!t it is able to collect.

I have been making a revised design, along with a bit of protection, for the last few years and not had one back yet. [-o<

I've done two production runs of over a thousand Mk1 kits, both were sold, in total, to dealers in Europe, where there are considerably more Activas.

I am tempted to make another batch of the Mk2 version, which includes 'rubber protection' for the bush, but it will be a limited run. I lost all the stock, jigs, drawings, etc in the fire that engulfed my workshop last year and making another batch is not high on my list of priorities, as my current Activa does not rattle, yet. I did offer the bushes for sale on here and got a few out, but given the FCF policies about commercial ventures advertising here, I did not want to push it.

I had the MK2 kit on long term test on my moded Activa with the 2.2L engine, along with a bench tester kit. I was going through a design registration to get the kit secured & CE approval was the next step, so I could offer the kit as an after market part assembly. I also had a manufacturer of hydraulics willing to offer a rebuild service for the rams, along with fitting my new Mk2 bush kit.

All this, along with all my new & remanufactured Activa stock disappeared in the fire. I may return to the Activa parts at a later date, but I am now involved in a couple of other ventures that are looking to bear fruition.

If I do another run of parts, I will post up on the FCF, but probably as a link to another website.
