oil leak in gearbox be4

I replace oil in gearbox be4 and when I turn the car on it have a oil leak near the clutch. I fill the gearbox with 2litters oil. I want to know if the problem is gearbox or it has excess oil. I have a peugeot 206 1.9 diesel.thank you

I think it has an oil level plug on the end of the gearbox behind the wing liner.

had you drained the old oil out completely?????? before installing the 2lt's
