As per subject, does this model come with DPF/FAP or not?

How do I check?

And next question, which oil would you recommend for this engine?

I think the manual says 5W40 but was wondering if anyone has better recommendation?

I'd say you need to find out more than what grade it is. You need to know what spec the oil is, something like AEC rating. Using the wrong oil can cause egr/ turbo failure. Once I know what spec oil I need I shop around for the best price. Decent spec oil can be had for less than £18 for 5 litres.

Try looking on a oil suppliers website for your vehicles requirements. Millers oil would be a good place to start.

I got Elf Evolution SXR 5W40 5l.

Apparently this oil is recommended for dCi engines.

I would think it might be a little early for DPF/FAP I think it was larger engines that had it first and smaller later. I stand to be corrected though.
