When Smalltalk Backfires

Post by addo »

My dearest person and I were quietly murmuring to each other last night.

Me: "I'm sort of glad all this happened. Otherwise I'd still be spending silly money on cars, doing things like buying Brembos for the Berlingo."
She: "But Brembos are cool! The ones off a Clio will fit straight on to my car!"
Me: (sighing and laughing at the same time) "So, instead of me saving money, we now have to get his-and-hers Brembos. And, I haven't forgotten you still want a nitrous kit."
She: "That'd be nice."

It is a very weird situation developing, Lexi. We're both struggling to keep our sanity about it all.

So do Clio Brembos fit on a Berlingo then? We need to know.. well, I do anyway, seeing as I have a Berlingo, and like to get a move on in it, though, I have to say, even fully loaded with holiday gear I find grip going before it goes fast enough to make the brakes fade

No, she has a Fuego... It looks like you need an adaptor to radial mount the Renault Sport calipers.

For Bertie you need 406 coupé Brembo calipers, front flexes to suit, 406 coupé 305×28mm discs, and 16" steelies off a 406 HDi or facelift C5. Nobody would be any the wiser unless they pulled a wheel off to look - it even appears stock.
