Sidcup must be just another name for purgatory I guess. Sounds like a real fun place...
There was a broken down ambulance being recovered blocking one lane, but you are right about Sidcup! (I live about 50 miles away)

I saw a very nice ZX estate in dark blue the other day, equipped with its original and slightly mad looking wheel trims. The one which look a bit like a disc saw. It's owner was also glaring at my Xantia estate as I drove by.

This evening I spotted an XM, one I see around from time to time. A silver P reg estate 2.0 16v, its a little rusty but seems in frequent use. The owner again was looking at my car, keen Citroeners no doubt!

Mk 1 Xantia SX facelift model in a light metallic red (R71 ***)on the A42 going East near Castle Donington, Saturday around 2'ish. Didn't catch whether petrol or diesel...too busy hooning past on the ZZR1100 on the way to Scarborough  (where there was a PINK  new style Range Rover on the seafront by the harbour...nearly put us off our breakfast!!)...

Black DS on a K plate, I think it was RHD. On the A21 near Lamberhurst at about 5pm today. No photo as I was driving alone.

Few interesting specimens up at the local Citroen indie yesterday.

CX GTi Turbo sitting in the yard looking a little sorry for itself.

Some variety of 1930-40s model in their showroom...potentially a Traction Avant, but I've not seen enough up close to identify them.

And something mysterious under a tarp - all that was visible was one corner of the very nose of the car, judging by the headlight visible (and a little googling) I'd have said it could be an SM.

And of course about 5 Xantiae mainly LXes but one V6 in green (for sale apparently) - getting my key back was quite amusing, he had a small lockbox full of Xantia keys without tags on- he opened said box, said "Uhhhh?" and offered me a random one  , conveniently there's a large stainless steel carabiner attached to mine.

Very tidy red 405 drove up my street then back again (cul-de-sac) probably lost.

Had the camera on the desk beside me. Too stupid to pick it up and get a photo.

A lovely pale blue GSA and very tidy silver Xantia Exclusive HDi Estate spotted at the National Vintage Communications Fair yesterday. Also an XM but that was mine...

I believe the GSA may have been Mike's (uhn113x). Xantia was a CCC member.

Other cars of interest at the Fair was an immaculate MKII Escort Ghia, a 1971 K Plate Mini Van that looked in daily use and a very scruffy Morris Minor from the late 50s or early 60s that looked likewise... The Escort very definitely was not a daily driver...

Star of the show though was an N plate Fraud Fester that had festered so much we wondered how it was still on the road. The rust was epic and the rear bumper and valance was just a distant memory

Those bushes are my front garden, so I am allowed to hide there.

Spotted this over the road yesterday!
