scenic rear door lock out of synch

Basically replaced the rear door on my wife's Scenic as the last one was damaged in a minor car park "incident"

Got a replacement door in the same colour, so thought jobs a good 'un.

However just realised that the "new" door unlocks when the other doors lock, and locks when the other doors unlock.

Disconnected it once and then locked the doors and reconnected, hopeing everything might be back in line but no success.

The only other thing I could think of was changing the wires round on the lock itself as I thought that might swap it from lock to unlock.(and vice versa)

Anybody had this before, or have any sugestions regarding how to fix it.
