306 td speedo,tacho,fuel gauge run to max

When the ignition is turned on the speedo, tacho and fuel gauge go to max and stay there. Peugeot think it might be an earth problem. Anyone had this?

Not on a new modern car but on older Austin cars. It was an earth problem at one of the sender units. And again the voltage stabalizer. What you should try is make sure all the earth wires are clean and tight down then check all the under bonnet wiring.

Never had this problem myself, Knowing Peugeot electrics it could well be an earth problem.
