Back to fold once more.

Post by Toby_HDi »

I'm BACK! (Poor you!)

After looking for a C5 II for a month and not really finding one that suited me I have now ended up with a Peugeot 407. Looking forward to having a play with it later as I've not had time yet. Its a 2.0 HDi SE with the Luxury Pack. Needs a clean and possibly a new rear bumper to make it look tidy. I'll stick some pictures up in the next couple of days if anyone is interested.

Not too bad Jim. Extremely busy. Now in my own place and work keeps me busy. Not much time for tinkering. Potentially a new job on the horizon too but yet to be seen. Must try and make some time for a meet or two this year though.

It'll be very good to see you Toby and don't worry about turning up in a 407. Robert Smart did at the X Rally and we still speak to him!!!

It wasn't intended as such. I wanted one for a while. I had planned to keep it a while and had a long term plan for an XKR (which I still have!).
I ended up getting my own place and so had to be sensible and get something cheaper to run. When I can afford it again I will get another or something similar.

Franklin, I definitely will be trying to get to some this year. I'll keep an eye out for dates.

Well, I don't suppose you can get much more sensible than a 407 Toby
