Sudden acceleration in 2nd gear, C5 HDI

I was just curious what could be causing a dead pedal and then a sudden surge of power. Yes i know its the turbo but the way its delivery seems to be not quite right. Not really bothered but would be nice to know just in case its an easy fix. All the other gears pull as intended. Any ideas?

That's strange then, I can't see why it should behave differently in 2nd to any other gear, I could have if it had been auto. Must be something sensitive to the speed or amount of throttle used when in 2nd, an electronic glitch I would think.
