Renault Megane 1.4e liberte 1998

Hi, can anyone please tell me whether my Megane needs semi synthetic oil or ordinary oil, its a petrol engine, many thanks

Its probably better to use semi syth as a minimum on a car manufactured at this year given its likely to be on longer service intervals compared to older models so the oil has to work a bit harder.
