Replacement rear 2.0. Hdi C5 spheres

Unread post by Peter.N. »

I have recently fitted a pair of Lizarte rear spheres and seem to have virtually no suspension movement, I bought a set of radius arm bearings thinking that was the problem but when I went to fit them I found that the arms were perfectly free, this leads me to the conclusion that the spheres are faulty.

Has anyone had any experience of theses spheres? Unfortunately I bought them about three or four months ago so I can't find from ebay or paypal where I bought them, due to being hospitalised and various other reasons I have only just fitted them.

There is a firm advertising them on ebay but I don't think that was where I got mine, I seem to have a dim memory of them having come from Ireland.

Any comments please folks?

I have used Lizarte spheres, and I haven't had any issues. This is where I got mine from;

Thanks, I don't think that was the firm, don't know how I am going to find out now.

If you bought them from ebay, and you know roughly when you bought them, you can either have a look through your received feedback, or your archived purchase history. I've done this before to find sellers I wanted to make another purchase from a year or more after the initial buy. Alternatively you should be able to download selected date range from your paypal history and find the seller that way.

Hi Ainslie

Brilliant thanks. I checked purchases and Paypal but neither went back for enough, never thought about checking feedback but I did and it was just within the permitted time period. It was the firm in London - yet another senior moment.
