Excellent makes you realise just how much of the world does actually drive on the correct side of the road!!!

Did you notice, Jim, many of these countries still have the Union flag as part of their national symbol? Rule Britannia!
I did see many of these 'countries' are rather small islands or protectorates. Mystified that the Falklands drive in the correct manner but that South Georgia is cackhanded!
I notice that the two largest world populations drive on opposite sides, Chia being cackhanded but India still maintaining the correct manner. No doubt, given the India economic growth model and expanding population, it will soon be dominante and will lead the world in driving on the 'right' side of the road.

Re: not citroen related
Indeed, our imperial influence HM
But how do you account for Japan driving on the correct side?
Be careful as India may change one day... To be honest it's debatable which side they drive on anyway...
Some of the Scandinavians changed over in 1967 I think it was... That must have been fun for all concerned...

I was there for a month but left a couple of days before the changeover.CitroJim wrote:

Everyone was very worried but they all drove left hand drive cars anyway, which eased the transition.
It went swimmingly well but accidents did start to happen a week or two later when people who had stopped driving until the dust had settled came out and were unprepared.

Jim, I think it was a case of lead by example for our Nippon friends, as they have managed to copy many of our Western ways, and look where that's got them! Oh, for the days when much of the map was coloured red.
As for the Indians, they have still maintained many of our illustrious establishments and improved upon them. Railways, justice, Civil Service, manufacturing.......... Why would they change? I dont think the holy cows give a sh!t what side of the road they're on.
