That's bloody annoying when you go through all that and then find they didn’t have it Steve

One good thing about the X rally venue is it is very spacious and open and exposed so nothing can linger for long and it's easy to escape/avoid it...

The decorators were in at work today and white spirit fumes were wafting around the office. It got borderline whether or not I was going to bail out but luckily they were quite transitory..

Reason is I'm very allergic to white spirit and anything containing it; inhalation of the vapours brings on a kind of asthma attack.

Yep, that is the main point in it's favour Jim.
Hope it is a bit armer than last year though.

I do too. It was just a touch chilly but the year before, the first one, was absolutely beautiful... Like a midsummer's day without the rain!!!

I'll miss it unfortunately as at appears to be a one-day only one sans camping, and I'm already booked to go to the Vintage Radio swapmeet on t'other side of he mountains (Golborne), but I will be seeing most of you later in the year at Little Horwood, in Dyane or GSA pulling tent or Chateaumobile camper like this.

I know, shocked me. Going to be a busy weekend...

Weather will be good. If March is bad then April wil be good and March has been nothing special so far...

I'm really happy that I'm going to make it too! Not in a Citroen though which is a bit embarrassing, but I'll park the Vel Satis somewhere discreet ;)

Will be great to FINALLY put faces to names and meet you lovely people - perhaps even get up close and personal with an XM and Xantia V6 :)

Luke, that's really brilliant :-D No, bring the Vel in and show it off... I've not looked at one close...

Still, at least with you in a Vel we'll have no problem spotting you

I'll be in my XM but I'm sure there'll be a few Xantia V6 or three there!

Excellent commitment Luke - you'll enjoy it I'm sure! =D> The Vel is more than welcome, can park with the other "Moderns".

That's a shame Kev, although see you at DSM!

So, looking past the current wintry conditions, this is two weeks today! I'll have to get Alan to have a word with his friend's in high places again... If the weather was so bad that the grassed area was unsuitable then I am currently in talks with Burghley regarding an area of hardstanding right outside the house... Updates to follow as and when...

We did have a list going at the start of this thread, so just to update this...

1. C4 By Loeb - Franklin
2. Project X (hopefully) - Franklin, piloted by Terry.
3. CX - Patrick.
4. Xantia Exclusive or Xantia Activa - Chris
5. XC5 - Steve
6. XM V6 - Jim
7. ZX 16v - Mark
8. BX 16v - Mark
9. BX 19RD Auto (Gloria) - Andy
10. C6 Exclusive - Steve
11. Vel Satis - Luke

So that's so far from on here, which is promising! The more the merrier though! :-D Apologies if I missed you out, or if you're not planning to attend. Feel free to copy'n'paste the list and add yourself to it.

Few more details for you:

Arrival from 9:30am please!

Cost will be £5 parking for each car.

Prize-giving for awards will be at 3:00pm (or before depending on weather etc).

2 for 1 entry to House & Gardens on production of CCC Membership card.

For info, below are the attendance numbers from last year - can we beat them?!

BX - 26
Xantia - 19
XM - 13
CX - 9
Others - 16
