No 4 the nearest was nice and clean with just a hint of buildup around the injector holes which I cleaned off with a soft brass brush.
Nos 2 and 3 Were covered in oil from the guide to the firewasher and had a small amount of wet carbon on the shaft as well as the buildup round the injector holes.
However No1, in the picture, you can see the oil below the guide and the carbon on the shaft which was a light tan colour.

I wasn't expecting to see the oil on 1,2 & 3, especially as No. 4 was so clean, nor the light tan colour on the 1st shaft.
I know there is a chart for spark plugs for the various states they get into.
Is there one for injectors? Can anyone explain the tan colour?
Is that an indication of running too hot?
As for the oil below the guides, I guess that is just the firewasher leaking?
